The Journey

The refurbishment of CB05 Levels 2 and 3 for the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building offers a welcoming, collaborative and innovative learning environment.

On Level 2 a flexible ‘Pod Classroom’ with an integrated AV/IT solution supports an array of teaching and learning modes. There are numerous break out areas to support student-led learning and quiet study. Colourful study pods of various shapes encourage creativity.

Level 3 consists of academic offices and Higher Degree Research student areas. The open plan nature encourages approachability, interaction and collaboration. The daylight-rich environment, natural timbers and ‘pops’ of colour create a fun and friendly workspace.
