This commission is for the fitout of the extension to the existing podium to create an additional 6000 square metres of additional space over five floors (3-7) for the Faculty of Design Architecture and Building as well as other “Teaching and Learning” facilities.

The considered interface between the existing and the new as well as working with the structure and careful planning of zones/spatial relationships are the keys to the outcome being successful . This project has also offered the chance to integrate technology into the design and use it as an integral part and a benefit to the overall design resolution and increase flexibility into the future and enable the space to be used in a number of modes.
We are excited to see the design translated into reality over the next eight months.
