The Journey

The primary purpose of the Dougherty Community Centre is to provide a community hub for Willoughby’s kaleidoscope of diverse community groups and Not for Profit service providers.

 

GW.’s aim was to re-configure the centre internally and increase capacity to ensure it continues to be used as multi-purpose communal space that can meet community demand. This versatile centre has
various rooms to accommodate from 2 to 188 people.

 

The Dougherty Community Centre is used for a wide range of community activities including:

  • Social Groups/Social Dances
  • Social Support Groups
  • Continuous Learning activities
