The Journey

We worked closely with the client in the initial stages of this project as they developed their process for the plasma-only centre. This fed into an iterative creative process resulting in an interior that responded to the primary needs of inviting, non-clinical space and an expedited donation process.

As part of the drive to move away from generic clinical environments, new materials were investigated along with creative applications of standard donor centre materials. The Centre incorporated new features such as an aquarium, personal entertainment systems, mobile joinery units for donation equipment and consumables along with the first ever 100% digital donor record system.
