The Lennon Centre’s contemporary design involved combining simple forms which are clear and fluid in their language together with the site specific context of climate, and the traditional rural Australian vernacular.
The ambition to achieve appropriate shading, daylighting and ventilation lead to borrowing from the simple construction techniques employed on typical farms and their underlying rationale.
