We design from the big picture through to the fine detail and we take enormous pride in providing exceptional outcomes.
Our core services include Architecture, Masterplanning and Interior Design across many different sectors including Education, Community, Workplace and Sport.
Our breadth of project experience allows for cross-pollination of ideas and knowledge to deliver clients with future-focused solutions enriched with learnings from other industries.
We help our clients identify the opportunities available to them as well as recognise potential risks that may need navigation along the way.
We understand commercial realities and our clients need to realise the highest and best use of their assets – we assist through the preparation of studies to assess the potential, viability and risk of the proposed development.
Drawing upon our in-depth knowledge and experience we offer our clients insights, advice and advocacy throughout the project life cycle and in a general context.
Our goal is to be our clients’ most trusted advisor.
We value the opportunity to work with a broad cross section of our community to better understand their needs and aspirations..
In the early stages of each project, we often act as facilitators in engaging with the community and gathering their input in order to develop a project brief. In fact, we relish that opportunity because it enriches the project outcome.
We believe that taking the time to understand and embrace the religious, cultural and business aspirations of each stakeholder group leads to a stronger design narrative and in turn promotes project ownership.
As architects, we delight in the knowledge that the places we have designed are embraced by the community and provide a sense of longevity within their context.
We help our clients select or commission artworks that enhance their environments and evoke the appropriate sensory response.
From wall hangings to large scale installations and sculptures, we take into consideration the site history, context and appropriateness to the architecture and its inhabitants.
Most recently GWA were commissioned to author a large-scale sculpture for a cemetery client. It was both challenging and (we think) very successful.
